Grass anyone?

One of our favorite design elements at Curly Willow Designs is using natural products. Whether it's a curly willow branch, birch bark covered planters, dried or fresh flowers or even drift wood, we love to incorporate these items and many more into our designs. Today, our office is filled with planters that have wheat grass growing in them. Last Thursday, the only thing in the planters was potting soil. Thursday night, the soil was then topped off with wheat seed. Today, just 6 days later, we have this! It's amazing what happens when we mix a few things together.

In a few short days, the planters will be used for the Furman Bell Tower Ball; Furman University's annual event that celebrates the accomplishments of members of the Furman community. Award winners are honored for professional achievements in their fields and for their continued display of generosity, service, and leadership.
Below are a few pictures of where we have used wheat grass as design elements for past events.
